100originalfics - A writing challenge community about writing one hundred fics centered around an original setting/character you’ve chosen.
authors - This is a community where authors may speak about their works, post their pieces, or discuss writing.
all_unwritten - Prompts for everyday writing.
bookpublishing - specifically devoted to...well...publishing books! Maybe you're a writer, editor, or designer or perhaps you're just interested in learning more about the field. Regardless of your background, this is a great place to network with other professionals and share your personal experiences.
discuss_writing - Where the tips and techniques of writing can be discussed.
fantasywriters - For those who write fantasy and those who read the fantasy that others have written.

Hey, weenies! I put up the first prompts over at kickmymuse. Get yourself a claim and start! You've got two weeks so there's no rush but participation would be a good thing.

Does anyone remember the community theodditorium? I was just looking back at that community and got an idea. Would anyone be interested in joining a comm like that if I created one? I think it'd be really fun! And a good way to brush up on the ole' writing skills. I could also have the challenges last two weeks since I know a lot of people are busy as of late.

So what do you think? Yay? Nay?

Notes: Before starting the nifty PSL with Diana, I figured that I should test my skills with Crichton before royally screwing him up. Oh, and Chiana is in there just because she is awesome like that. First Farscape fic. Unbeta'd. (And I know that American Idol only came out in '02 and John came on Moya in '99 (or I assume since that's when the show started) thus meaning he wouldn't know what American Idol was, but the opportunity was too good to pass up. XD Constructive criticism is more than welcome!

Oh my gosh, my first actual ficlet to be posted in a livejournal! Actually, now that I think about it, this is my first one-shot I've ever written. Anyway, I wrote this for myfebruarysong 'cos she asked for one in her Christmas list thing. I know someone already told you that they would do it but I was just really bored one night. Plus, I thought it was cute. ^^; So, er, enjoy!
